The last six months has been a whirlwind and has been such a learning experience for all of us. Mary finished her ministry school in May and is still working part time at a French cosmetic store.  Kenny has been working part time for Delta Airlines. Working for Delta has allowed us to see more of our family in Oklahoma and take a short mission trip to Marseille as a family. Kenny is also working towards his M.A. through Liberty online and should finish up some time next year. The kids are in a school program called Classical Conversations. They are taught the core foundations of the appropriate age curriculum plus in-depth version of the history of civilization all from a biblical perspective.

As I mentioned earlier we recently took a trip to Marseille as an entire family in August. It was a short trip but we feel the Lord really spoke to us and guided our thoughts while we were there.  Our intent was to expose our kids to the country, catch up with the interns, and see where we would fit when it comes to ministry.   While we were there we got to see a cool coffee shop set in the heart of the art district that also serves as a church.    We also got to catch up with other missionaries from BIM, Greyling and Sandra Trees. This couple is paving the way for the spread of the Gospel unlike the city has seen for years! Please keep them in your prayers as they are pioneers of the Gospel in a very dark city.

 Technology
The church we have been a part of the last year has offered to help us get a website going. This will allow us to communicate all that we are doing on regular bases. With a website in place more people we  be able to see what we are doing and join in our journey to take to church to where it is not.  I will have Mary post more info on Facebook when it is up and running!
Thank You!
It seems every time we ask the Lord if we are still on the right path, he sends someone along to confirm that indeed we are still in his will. The good news is that with all the support we have received from you over the past couple of years we are at 100% of our set up needs. As you read this we are building relationships in our church to reach the other 50% of our monthly support. Again, we cannot say THANK YOU enough for what you have sacrificed for us to be where we are today. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we seek to bring the Good News everywhere we go.
In His Care,
The Edwards

Special Prayer Request

I Kenny, have an amazing opportunity to take a mission trip to Togo Africa at the end of November. It will be a ten day trip with a group from our church here in Minnesota. We will focus on a work with a few orphanages and spend time organizing a three day crusade.  We are expecting thousands to come hear the Gospel! Pray for safety, health, and leading of the Holy Spirit!  I can’t wait to update you with the testimonies that I am expecting from this trip!

La Vie Est Belle-Life is Beautiful

Wow? I cant believe I am actually taking the time to do this after at least two years of  the Lord prompting me. I am starting a blog!   Am I a talented writer?? No Do I have amazing stories to tell?? That depends on who you are asking? Will anyone ever want to read my posts? Probably not! The truth is I am only doing this because The Father prompted me too share what he has done in my life. If this blog  is only ever a blessing to  me and my family, I'm okay with that. Speaking of family, take a look at those beautiful kids above! I have always said I will never be a blogger nor did  I want to be a blogger.  Who has the time to read those things let alone write them?? But when God repeatedly asks you to do something, I'm thinking I better do it! I feel like I will be using this blog to write about the journey the Lord has taken my family and I on. By the  way: if you do read this, I pray that above all you hear my heart.
I feel like maybe I should share a little about myself,  I am married to an amazing selfless servant-hearted man. I have two priceless children who constantly remind me how blessed I am. I currently work part time at a beautiful French boutique, which I absolutely adore. I am attending a school of ministry. I was born in a Middle Eastern country, but was brought to the states as a baby. I was adopted into a loving Christian home when I was 4 years old. (P.S I am a huge advocate for adoption and loving orphans!)    I grew up in  a small town in Oklahoma and met my savior and King when  I was thirteen.
I fall more and more in love with Jesus daily. He truly has stolen my heart and wrecked my life in an amazing way. My life is constantly changing and God in his sovereignty continually protects and keeps me. So I think for this first official post this is all I need to share. I do warn you my posts may be very random at times. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL
